GP Flanders changes its name into GP Limburg!

Welcome to the GP Limburg website! Yes, the event that was previously known as “GP Flanders” has connected its name to the region this GP is hosted in. Why? Well, Belgium, and even more specific the region of Limburg, has built up a tremendous history in motorsports at the highest level. A large number of champions and motocross legends such as Robert, Malherbe, Jobé, De Coster, Martens, Smets, Everts and Geboers have got their foundations here or have great memories of this region. It’s clear that Motocross is deeply rooted in Belgium and Limburg! Provincie Limburg is proud of this enormous heritage and likes to emphasize this in the following years.

The heritage also applies to the number of races that have been held throughout the country – that is why GP Limburg is proud to honor this tradition with the organization of the single Belgian Grand Prix of the calendar.
Next to this landmark race GP Limburg tries to offer more than just a racing weekend. GP Limburg is also the engine for a total week of motorsports fun, with it’s organization of MX Rookie and MX Congress. This side program, combined with the holiday period it is scheduled in and the ideal touristic surroundings, turns this event into the ideal holiday destination for motorsports enthousiasts!
